Prior to opening her company in 1999, Bernie had 20 years of hands on experience in HR, culminating as the Senior Executive of Human Resources for One Valley Bank and Bancorp (now BB&T).

Vicki Ballengee, Director of Sales and Service, joined DeemHR October 1, 2009.
Her experiences includes financial planning, investments, marketing and retail management. She most enjoys helping companies succeed with growth and profitability through happy, productive, and successful employees. After 30+ years of management experience at five banks ranging in size from $140 million to $3 billion, Vicki is having fun helping others be successful.

Julia Hunt
Julia Hunt joined DeemHR in April, 2011 in an adjunct compacity. Julia comes to us from the not-for-profit business world and her expertise ranges from administrative to accounting to financial.Julia thrives on hard work and will be concentrating her efforts on administrative tasks and assignments.She is proficient in Excel and Word and helped greatly during the 2011 HR Hot Topics conference.

Monica Kessell is on of our newest DeemHRAssociates, joining us November, 2011. She has just re-entered the workforce from being a stay-at-home mom with her three children. Debbie Varney
Debbie Varney is a Senior Consultant at DeemHR. She is a seasoned HR professional in benefits, compensation, HRIS, training, payroll, employment and dealing with difficult situations. She is effective in systems management and administration and has great problem solving skills.
In the past, Debbie led stress reduction classes, helped develop a teller training certification program and lead behavioral change workshops.
