Seeking Facilities Coordinator, (p/t 37.5-39 hours per week, w/partial benefits), for Hope House domestic violence shelter.In addition to meeting licensure and all accrediting standards, this person will be responsible for making the shelter aesthetically pleasing and peaceful, all while providinga place of safety with compassionate advocacy for our clients.
The successful candidate for this position shouldhave demonstratedskill in :working with families in crisis duringtransition; housekeeping ;landscaping and gardening; coordinating with staff and contractors on upgrades and repairs; preparing menus and coordinating food program; maintaining shelter as if it were theirprivate home;detailed record keeping and reporting;working ina teamand victim centered approach to advocacy;and comfortable rolling their own sleeves up and performing labor intensive chores.
Responsibilities include coordinating repairs/maintenance at all RFAP locations.

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is located within Human Resources Management Service at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center. The VA Medical Center is located in the heart of West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle on 175 acres in historic Berkeley County. The Medical Center offers a comprehensive range of services, including internal medicine, ambulatory surgery, audiology and speech pathology, dental, nursing home, nutrition, podiatry, prosthetics, women's health, mental health, and rehabilitation medicine. Patient Care is provided through an integrated primary care concept, and each veteran is assigned to a team of health care providers that follows the patient's care both as an inpatient and an outpatient. The Medical Center has a service area of nearly 130,000 veterans in West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
